A memorandum was signed between Fastex and the NGO “Union of Leading Technologies Enterprises” during the WCIT World Congress of Innovation and Technologies, scheduled to take place in Armenia from October 4-7. As part of this collaboration, the Union will organize the WCIT 2024/DigiTec event at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan. This event will also include the “DigiTec 2024” international technology exhibition, which will be hosted at the “Meridian” expo center.
“We have curated state-of-the-art content and speakers, bringing them together on one stage is a significant achievement for Armenia. This collaboration, particularly with Fastex, ensures that the event will not only meet international standards but also be memorable and spectacular,” stated Hayk Karapetyan, the Executive Director of the WCIT2024/DigiTec Organizing Committee.
The memorandum signing ceremony was attended by Alexander Yesayan, President of the “Union of Advanced Technologies Enterprises” (UATE), Hayk Karapetyan, Executive Director of the WCIT2024/DigiTec Organizing Committee, and Vahagn Badalyan, a member of Fastex’s Board of Directors.
“This is a very important event for Armenia. Despite being a small country, we aspire to show the world that we can become a hub of innovation. Fastex, as a leader in the field, is proud to support this event,” remarked Vahagn Badalyan, a member of Fastex’s Board of Directors.
Alexander Yesayan, President of UATE, added, “I am pleased that our collaboration has come to fruition, and together, we can position Armenia as a technological and innovation center in the region. Fastex’s partnership is crucial for the successful organization of WCIT 2024/DigiTec. Their substantial contribution will help ensure the event’s high quality.”
The goal of this cooperation is to highlight the strategic importance of developing the high-tech industry in Armenia. The Congress will facilitate numerous joint initiatives aimed at creating a competitive and supportive business environment in the country. Fastex will continue to support similar technology sector events, while also showcasing its innovative products and services.
WCIT2024/DigiTec will be held from October 4-7, 2024, at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan, under the theme “THE POWER OF MIND: Artificial Intelligence Beyond Borders Within Ethics.”
During these four days, WCIT2024/DigiTec will transform Armenia into a technological hub, offering a platform for keynote speeches, panel discussions, and B2B meetings featuring leading global experts. The conference will also include the WITSA World Cup startup competition, showcasing startups from around 20 countries, along with innovative demonstrations, business presentations, seminars, and other events.
