Armenian Wirestock, which developed a tool connecting visual content creators and stock platforms, will partner with Getty Images to expand content distribution.
The deal includes both Getty Images and iStock, writes TechCrunch.com. The company already had contracts with Adobe Stock, Alamy, Freepik and other world-renowned stock platforms.

The new partnership gives the 100,000 or so contributors on the Wirestock platform, and their 3 million pieces of content, a much broader distribution.

“We are extremely excited about this cooperation. It will help generate more revenue for content creators, which, in turn, will lead to more great photos and videos being uploaded and shared on our platform,” said Mikael Khachatryan, co-founder, and executive director of Wirestock.
Wirestock was founded in 2019, the company has received $3.3 million to date, $2.3 million in January this year. The company employs around 40 people today and hints that the future holds more automation, monetization channels and things like NFT sales.
