On September 12, DataFest Yerevan 2025, Armenia’s premier international conference focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning, launched at the Woods Center. Spanning September 12–13, this sixth annual edition brings together top global experts, researchers, engineers, and technology professionals once more.
DataFest Yerevan functions as a crucial platform for advancing AI development in Armenia, promoting dialogue between local and international specialists, facilitating knowledge sharing, and fostering new professional relationships.
“Throughout the years, DataFest Yerevan has grown into a larger, more international event, now featuring three parallel sessions that demonstrate its scope and diversity. This year, we’re showcasing the most current AI trends, from large language models and chatbots to BioML and its applications in biology and chemistry. What makes the festival distinctive is how it merges cutting-edge presentations with a collaborative atmosphere, uniting global experts and local talent to help establish Armenia as an emerging center for AI and data science,” explains Zaven Navoyan, co-organizer of the DataFest Yerevan conference.
The speakers at DataFest Yerevan 2025 represent both Armenia’s expanding AI ecosystem and prominent international experts from countries including Canada, France, Austria, India, and Germany. Representatives from major organizations and institutions, including Meta, Google DeepMind, Hugging Face, the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences, NVIDIA, JetBrains, Picsart, PMI Science, TUMO, and Helmholtz Munich, shared the latest research and developments in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
“What makes DataFest Yerevan truly distinctive is the diversity of its speakers—a carefully selected combination of research, industry, data engineering, and software fields. This mix ensures that every specialist discovers relevant insights while also gaining knowledge from related domains. We maintain high standards for our presentations, requiring them to be technically comprehensive, informative, and to provide practical insights not readily available elsewhere. It’s this quality and accessibility that validates Yerevan’s position as a regional AI hub. Participating in DataFest means accessing world-class expertise, building connections with leading local and international talent, and departing better prepared to address tomorrow’s challenges,” states Arsen Yeghiazaryan, co-organizer of the DataFest Yerevan conference.
Conference presentation recordings will be made available on the conference website.
This year’s partners include Firebird AI, Freedom Broker, PMI Science R&D Center Armenia, SoftConstruct, WorldQuant, Envoy, JetBrains, Yandex, Woods Center, Provectus, Eleveight AI and Simply Technologies.
