AI Conf Armenia is back — and the 4th edition might be its biggest yet

Armenia’s main AI conference is returning on April 18, and this time it’s being held at Yerevan State University. The organizers are calling it AI Conf⁴ — not just because it’s the fourth edition, but as a nod to how fast the field itself is moving. Exponential growth, exponential naming.

The event is put together by a solid lineup of local institutions: YSU, Krisp, YerevaNN, and the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE). They’ve been running this conference since the early days of the local AI scene, and each year it’s grown.
What’s the focus this year?

The central theme is GPU-based computing — specifically, how Armenia’s research and engineering community can tap into it. The goal is to show students and early-career researchers what’s actually possible today, both locally and on global platforms, and hopefully pull more of them into serious AI work.

Two keynote speakers have been confirmed:

  • Rev Lebaredian — Vice President at NVIDIA
  • Armen Aghajanyan — Founder of Perceptron, formerly at Meta AI

Both are names that carry real weight in the global AI space. Having them in Yerevan is a good sign for where the local scene is heading.

How to join the event

Attendance is free, but spots are limited and registration is required. If you’re interested, sign up early.
