Alexander Yesayan, during his speech on AI Conf Armenia 2026, highlighted that Firebird AI will soon announce the launch of the third phase of its AI data center project in Armenia, bringing the number of GPUs to 110,000 units

According to him, a significant increase in system capacity is currently being discussed, which will effectively double the planned capacity. As part of the third phase, approximately 60,000 additional graphics processing units (GPUs) are planned to be deployed in Armenia, bringing the total number to 110,000. Active negotiations with the government are underway to implement this expansion, particularly regarding the necessary electricity supply.

We can take advantage of this opportunity and benefit the world. We can export knowledge that will make us significant and desirable to the global economy . The only chance for Armenia to exist and develop is to use our natural resource, human potential,” Rev Lebaredian reflected in his speech during the AI Conf 2026 in Yerevan State University.

The first practical results of the project are expected soon. During the initial phase, approximately 6,000 GPUs will be launched within the next month.
